  1. Positions added to the board manually can be edited later.

Why?

The initial MVP release of the application tracker enables people looking for work to track all positions listed on cord, but a job search often involves tracking multiple applications across multiple platforms and job sites. This feature enables usrr to add positions they’ve found elsewhere to their application tracker on cord, truly enabling them to manage their job search in one place.

What?

  • Add positions using URLs: Simply paste the URL of a job position, and cord will check if it already exists on cord. If it does, you can add the position to your board with a single click.
  • Detailed job information: When a match is found, you’ll see a small position card with key details, including company logo, position, location, remote work options, salary, skills. You can then choose to add this to your board.
  • Manual entry option: If a job URL is unavailable or a position isn’t listed already on cord, you can manually enter the job information. The form includes fields for company name, position title, experience level, work type, location, salary range, and job description.
  • Position editing: After adding a position manually, you can edit the information anytime, ensuring it stays up to date.
  • Choose application stage: Select the appropriate application stage for each position when adding it to your tracker.

How?

Thank you to Hasan (Senior Back End Developer) and Jiyeon (Senior Front End Developer) for building and releasing this feature.
