You can now save candidates to different shortlists. Organise your saved candidates however you like, while we’re working on building all the privacy controls you’ll need

Why?

Previously, when cord was purely for companies hiring in-house for engineers, the ability for a company user to collaborate with A) other recruiters B) their hiring team has been less pressing because we were in a narrow niche. This naturally reduced the amount of collaboration required because less people were involved in the hiring process for less positions.

However - since going into new verticals and opening cord for agencies, as well as large teams using cord - we now significantly increase the number of user cases for cord. Companies are using cord to hire across their teams, not just engineering. They’ll use cord to build their whole company. Agency recruiters are using cord to recruit for multiple clients at once.

As a result - the ability to easily manage/pipeline candidates and source collaboratively becomes a necessity. Feedback on this area of the product is the most frequent we receive from company users.

What?

In this MVP release, company users can shortlist a profile to a specific shortlist, which they can name. They can create multiple shortlists, rename and delete shortlists. Shortlists are currently viewable by all owner + full access users on the account.

Saving a profile to a shortlist

  1. Select the bookmark icon on the profile you would like to save
  1. Select an existing shortlist or create a new one
  1. The profile will be saved to that shortlist
  1. Create new shortlists, edit and delete shortlists on the main Shortlists page

What’s next?

Next up is enabling users to save profiles to private shortlists.
