Loop 6: releases, improvements and fixes

🎉 Releases

• Company users can add multiple comments on saved profiles

• Preview of last message in conversation is default view on inbox

• Company users can now edit their messages

• Every application now has a message (previously it was possible for people to sign up to cord via a specific position, but not send a message with their application)

📈 Improvements

• Streams always show all candidates (previously the user had to sometimes refresh to see all the candidates in a given stream)

• After a user messages someone from full profile view, they are automatically taken to the next profile (previously after messaging they were taken back to the top of the stream)

• When a user hides a profile from full view, they are automatically taken to the next profile (previously they had to click the arrow to view the next profile)

• Closing a profile from full view takes the user back to their previous position in the stream (previously it took them back to the top of the stream)

• Hiding snackbar has a new lighter and slimmer look (previously it was chunkier and got in the way)

• Profile disappearing animations are slightly faster (previously it was slower to disappear and people found that annoying)

• Saved profiles can be hidden from a stream (previously this was not possible)

• When unsaving a profile from a shortlist, the user sees a snackbar confirming the profile has been removed (previously there was no confirmation that someone had been removed)

• Search filters are now grouped by category

• Improved speed of company searches by changing the count call sequence

• Improved search speed on demo accounts so that they are as fast as normal accounts

• Clicking on a conversation in the inbox now takes the user automatically to the most recent message (previously they had to scroll down)

• Messages appear instantly in the inbox (previously the user had to refresh) and the notification noise is in sync

• Actions from other users appear instantly in the inbox (without user needing to refresh)

• Reduced listing vector update frequency

• Add monitoring to Datadog dashboard and alerts for API responsiveness - helping us identify issues earlier

• When visa sponsorship is not available on a position, the toggle to prevent people who would need sponsorship applying is toggled on by default

🔧 Fixes

• Fixed scroll on the company inbox

• Fixed issue where applications sent the previous day were showing a time stamp instead of date

• Fixed issue where calendar error message letting company user know why their message wasn’t being sent was not appearing

• Fixed issue where a stream incorrectly shows ‘All active candidates actioned!’ when removing stream filters in quick succession

• Fixed error where editable column had not been removed from the code base

• Fixed view tracking for self-serve demos

• Fixed issue where longer auto-suggested skills do not show a tooltip with the full skill name

• Fixed issue where reactivating companies’ positions were not switching from external to direct positions

• Fixed issue where candidate profiles were not being set to complete

• Fixed search errors happening for new candidates
