- Filter positions by remote location requirements
- Filter by remote anywhere, remote in the UK, remote in the US, remote in the EU.
Why?
Users looking for remote work have often shared their frustration with us at not being able to filter positions by the remote location requirement (e.g. remote work from anywhere, or remote in a particular place).
Here’s a snapshot of the feedback we received:
- There’s no filter for only remote anywhere
- I want to be able to filter positions that I can’t apply to because of my location. e.g.: filtering out remote in the US/UK positions when I’m in the EU
- Quick filters might be very useful. Let’s say for my use case I’m looking for complete remote option but it’s not that easy to filter out to see only jobs which are completely remote or remote in EU.
- Adding more filters for remote. For example, when I want to search for remote jobs, I don’t want to get jobs that says “Remote in {country}“, I want jobs that I can work in any country
- remote vs location filtering(e.g i cant separate Remote in the UK vs remote)
- Better filtering on “Remote” location option. e.g. I do not want to see “Remote” results that make me live in a specific country. Maybe add a different category?
What?
The remote location filter allows you to filter remote positions by the following options: Remote anywhere, Remote in the UK, Remote in the EU, Remote in the US. Here’s how it works:
- Remote Anywhere: Selecting this option will show you all remote positions that do not have any location restrictions. This is ideal for those who are open to working remotely from any location globally.
- Remote by region: You can now filter remote jobs by specific regions:
- UK: Displays any remote positions available within the United Kingdom.
- US: Displays any remote positions available within the United States.
- EU: Displays any remote positions available in European Union countries.
- Multi-select: If your preferences include multiple regions, you can select more than one. For example, if you want to see remote jobs available in both the UK and EU, you can tick both.
